I've since updated to Minecraft 1.7.2. Now, bear in mind, that I've been playing minecraft for awhile now, and I haven't had any lag problems up until this update. It's not necessarily a drop in FPS as one might expect, but its more annoying and not quite as fixable. When I break blocks, the grabbable items don't show up until several seconds afterwards. Right clicking objects like crafting tables and furnaces bring up the menu about 5 seconds after I click, and mobs kinda teleport around instead of walking. They're stationary, and a second later, they just zoom ~3 blocks away as if they walked there. It's really ­ing annoying, it's never happened to me before. I've tried reinstalling the game and updating java, nothing works.
