I'm trying to make a farm so I can have a steady supply of arrows but I only have one chicken... I explore and look for more but they only follow me for so long and then they want to go back where they started it seems. I try feeding them everything but they want none of it, seeds, pumpkin seeds, wheat... no results.
Make sure your particles are set to all, and try using a lead.

Wow, cool that did it. I was able to feed my single chicken so at least now I know I can do that. and Thanks for the tip on the lead, I don't have time to make it (what with turkey day festivities to attend to) but I didn't even know it existed before, so i'll be anxious to use that later.
