under our control panel it no longer shows USE ITEM/PLACE Block. not sure what the error is? would love your help in troubleshooting as we cant seem to find out he glitch. Thank you.

we dont use any plugins. She has always used this Mac and never had any issues. she accidentally went into control panel and hit something. since then, she hasn't been able to place a block and it is missing from the control panel. a few other people who play it have sent us screen shots of their control panel and they all have a spot that says USE ITEM/Place Block and a key associated with it.
