(I don't know if this is the right place to put this topic, so if it isn't, please tell me D:)
Hello, I seem to be having a small problem. A while back, I made a map in "The End" Dimension on a minecraft server. The server owner has given me the end map files to the end, but the thing is, when I try and replace the end dimension on a map that I created in single player, it doesn't seem to want to work as it just overwrites the dimension with a vanilla one. If someone could please help me, it would be very appreciated
First, you need to go to the .minecraft folder. This is simple to do from the launcher: start the launcher. Press Edit Profile, then Open Game Dir. Next, go to the saves folder, then the folder of the world you created. If there is not a 'DIM1' folder inside, create it. If there is, go into it and delete the 'region' folder if it also exists. Finally, copy over the 'region' folder from the server's world.

I have done that, but it just generates a new end world. One thing I did forget to mention is the fact that the end map was created on an older version of Minecraft (Around 1.1 or 1.2.5) Would I have to downgrade my version of Minecraft to be able to view the world and keep it from re-generating a new world?

Would it help if I uploaded the end map files to MediaFire to see if anyone else can do it? .-.
