Is there anyway to transfer my minecraft worlds from my Windows PC to my Mac without using an external device. For example could you somehow move the saves folder to google drive? If so how?
Simply go to Google Drive and click the button to the right of the 'Create' button to upload. Upload the files, and that should work out fine.
Then, follow the guide I've given in the link below, for Macs (too much time to type it up when it's already common knowledge on the internet) to access the .minecraft folder.
I'm on a Mac and Minecraft works great. Enjoy the new computer! If Google Drive does not work (which it should), use dropbox.com, an easy file sharing, and storing website.
