Hello fellow minecrafters! I logged into my single player world that i have spent numerous hours on and close to where i made my base, there was a unloaded chunk. I made the decisison to Jump into it... As i fell, i would lagg on my way down. Since i couldn't move, I logged out and closed the window. I tried to log back into my same world, and It would just go back to the title screen. Please help! I dont want this world to go to waste... Thanks

open the saves folder and goto your world folder.
there will be a folder called players, then a file called flip_Boi13.dat, delete it, you will loose your inventory as it will reset your player back to the spawn.
or you could load the world in mcedit and relocate your player to a safe area, this would mean no loss of items
I havent tried the delete method yet, but I tried the McEdit method, and all i saw was nothing, just a blue backround like i was in the sky or something. I also dont know how to use McEdit..
Edit: I tried to delete my .dat file, but the same problem occurs. I try to load the world, and it just goes back to the title screen.
if you want i could take a look at the save file with mcedit, if you zip and upload it to a file share site like megaupload i can see what i can do.
won't be able to look right away as i'm about to log off for sleeps, pm the link if you don't want others accessing your world file
i had to clear a chunk out, think you can tell which one, as its a flatland now, mcedit isn't updated to 1.7 so when i tried to make a normal chunk it made it snowy, i went for basic flatland, you will have to do a lil tidying up to make it ft in sorry, lso on part of map i stopped a could water flows just incase.
also moved spawn a little, its near your house lol
