I've been looking into getting a new PC and have been looking for processors that can run Minecaft well (normal to far render distances, about 40 FPS etc.). I eventually found a 3.0 GHz Intel Pentium with integrated Intel HD graphics. My question is whether the Intel graphics will work or if I should look into a separate GPU. Any advice is helpful.
intergrated gpu's generally are not very good, but some will run minecraft.
if you can get a cheap card gpu it would run better, just be aware that windows 8 does not have drivers for any older cards and this will lead to minecraft not working at all.
