I've had a login problem for months now. Ever since the new launcher came out I can't connect to he Minecraft Servers upon startup.


THIS IS THE ERROR MESSAGE

Its most likely blocking the launcher from getting what it needs from mojang servers

I'm using AVAST free antivirus

it might be though that you can't disable it and need to uninstall it

I use Avast as well, no issues connecting for me. Something else is the issue.

DimSim2001, a bit of googling seems to suggest your Java installation is broken/damaged. Uninstall it and download the latest version: http://www.java.com/en/download/
