So I'm making a Mario custom map and I started it in 1.6.2 and put commands that had the setblock command. 1.7 comes out and I test the commands and they work. I need to clear out some huge chunks of land and place huge amounts of blocks, and I don't want to individually place and destroy thousands of blocks so I use MCEdit. I finish up and do some finishing touches back in the game. The next day I open Minecraft and choose the Super Mario world. It goes to the loading page and I wait for a few minutes. I thought my computer was still taking a while to boot up so I went to my internet browser and watched some videos. About an hour later (you know what happens during that time) I checked back and it was still on the same page. So I tried to close Minecraft and it did nothing so I closed it using Task Manager. Then I opened Minecraft again and tried loading my survival world and that worked. So I tried to open the Mario world again and had the same problem. So I tried creating a new world and moving my work to the new world I created. I tried opening that world and had the same problem. So I went into the saves folder and deleted the stuff inside the players and data folders. Still not working. So I don't know if it has anything to do with the map, the save file, or MCEdit. If you need any other information just tell me.
Use a backup of u world, tray "Region repair" from MC-Edit and load u world first in 1.6.4.
If u map work there (special the places u edit with MC-Edit) retry it with Minecraft 1.7.2
