launcher help

i was wondering is there any way to set the location of the launcher so that it can go to an other hard disc and not my c disc

Delete Minecraft, redownload the installer, and move it to the D:\ drive before you run it.

Make sure to back up your saves before you delete Minecraft!

what i mean is that i put all of my game files in a folder in my I drive witch is a 1 tb hard disc and i was wondering if there is a way to make my launcher locate and run the files off the i drive and not my c drive

click the edit profile button, the there is an option to set the directory for that profile, tell it to use your other drive

so how will that work with moded minecraft will it just move all my files over or do i have to move them my self

I believe you will have to move all your mod files that you saved before deleting over yourself. Good Luck.
