Hello,

I recently redownloaded minecraft.exe after not playing for several months. I had cleared out all files and folders when I deleted it.

When running minecraft.exe for the first time, I recieved this error message:

Please fix the error and restart.

Try disabling your firewall/antivirus program, that should fix it.

Hey guys, my antivirus program doesn't work, my security center crashes every time I open it, and windows update failed on me years ago (I do have a firewall through my router though, so there is some security). Yeah, my laptop is dying...haha....maybe the answer to my problem would be to get another one! lol
