Idk how to get minecraft.jar i deleted it in like 1.6.2 but never got it back before update so now idk how to get it back i tried looking up how to but haven't found anything help!! D:
In the official Minecraft launcher, under Profile Selection dropdown box is a Edit Profile button.
In this new window, you can then adjust many settings, including where you can make that profile's gamesaves, resource packs and screenshots be stored at.
The highlighted part is the version selector. In this dropdown box you can select a released version of minecraft that you want including in your case 1.6.2 if you need it.
