Help me i have been playing minecraft 1.5.2 because my lancher has never worked when thebupdate happened so i am very sad about this an i finnaly dicide to ask the good people of minecraft fourm so can u fix this its on a mac:

Make sure you're connected to the internet and minecraft isn't blocked.

I am and what do u mean blocked

We mean like on a school or work network where Minecraft would be blocked. Also, that error is definitely an internet issue, unplug your router, wait ten seconds, plug it back in, then try. If that doesn't work, contact your ISP and maybe they can help you.
