When I play 1.7.2, I can't hear my player and other players getting the hurt sound when they get hurt...If you're confused on what I'm saying, then I'm saying that I can't the hurt sound when a player gets attacked or fall down 4+ blocks. (By The Way, Sorry If This Isn't In The Wrong Section)
Go into your settings and navigate to the sounds category, or whatever it's called. Check to see if the player sounds volume is at 0%, or even check that your master volume is at 100%, or whatever you want.
