someone please help me. I was playing on a server and I decided to put It on full screen mod so I did. then the screen got black except a little sliver at the bottom of the screen. every time I log on to minecraft the mojang logo is green then the screen goes black. does anyone have any suggestions!?!?!
No. Just delete the .minecraft folder in roaming, and the launcher will re-download it.

Click on the search bar on the bottom of the start menu.
Type in "%appdata%" then hit enter. You should be in a folder called 'Roaming'.
You will see a folder called '.minecraft' you want to delete that folder.
(Please note that if you have any mods installed you will have to re-install them also with any worlds that are saved in Minecraft will also be deleted to save those go inside of '.minecraft' then go into a folder called 'saves' and you will find your world saves.)
5. After you have saved your worlds and deleted the '.minecraft' folder launch 'Minecraft.exe' wherever you have it saved to. (It doesn't matter where it is saved to.)
Click the start button on the bottom left corner. (Or hover over it if you have Windows 8)
There should be a down arrow on the bottom under neath all of the 'tiles' click it.
After clicking it search "File Explorer" then after it launches locate your hard drive where Minecraft is installed on.
After you have found which hard drive Minecraft is on mine. For example mine is on 'C:\'
Click a folder called 'Users' open the folder of the current user you are on right now.
Then you want to click 'Properties' on the top of the files explorer.
You want to open 'AppData', then open up 'Roaming'
You will see a folder called '.minecraft' you want to delete that folder.
(Please note that if you have any mods installed you will have to re-install them also with any worlds that are saved in Minecraft will also be deleted to save those go inside of '.minecraft' then go into a folder called 'saves' and you will find your world saves.)
