I am a newbie, been playing the PE, have an early '08 i Mac with 10.9
downloaded MC with Java 7 on board, but as it goes into startup mode it says Java is 1.6 something
I am able to hit play, and the MC launcher comes up on the top bar, but nothing else
do I need to be playing an earlier version of MC? I tried to load 1.5 but I got an error message saying MC is damaged and that I need to trash it.
...I'm floating in my tin can, far above the world. Planet earth looks blue and if I don't get this running my kids will too...
Errr... I don't know what to make of this... Anyone else? Is he okay?

sorry...was just being Bowie...in all seriousness, I can't seem to get this running as mentioned before. Any help would be greatly appreciated. If I'm in the wrong forum, please let me know as I am new to all of this.
