I used to play minecraft alot and such, multiplayer worked fine. After quitting for months and returning; Now, after update it won't let me play a multiplayer server, when I hit multi player button all it does is stop minecraft from responding. Any fix?.

It might be just a glitch in Minecraft. You can report it to Mojang or the official bug reporting thread to inform the bug.
