I've not played in a while and (not wanting to update to 1.7 yet), I've opted to keep my 1.4.7 install of the game. This has been working great and I've been chugging along on my world until recently, when I had to install a new Java version. This seems to have worked fine except for one rather distinct problem: my .bat file that I used to increase the memory for the game isn't working any more.
The error message is:
Windows cannot find 'java'. make sure you typed the name correctly, and then try again.
I've been using this shortcut for ages to be able to increase the memory, but now that I've updated, it doesn't work at all. I can play the game, but I get a decent amount of stops and starts with the game if I don't up the memory a bit.
Current version of Java is Version 7 Update 45.
I can post the coding I used in the .bat file, though it's basically one that I found online to do it. I'll post any other specs as needed as well.

Thanks in advance to anyone who can help me out!
