Hello all,

I've been a very happy Minecraft player for the last week or so, but the longer I play, the more I notice the lack of any weather on my survival mode game. I have set up base in a grassy plain biome, which I believe is supposed to get rain and storms. I've played for several game months, but there still has been no weather of any kind, other than the normal partly cloudy skies.

On my creative mode game, in the same type of biome, I get lots of rain. Why is there none on my survival mode? Any ideas? I don't know if difficulty has anything to do with it (I doubt it), but I am playing on normal.

You can try making a new survival world, but with cheats on. When you modify the weather, type the command /weather rain or /weather thunder or /weather clear. This problem had occurred with many people, since the new update, the weather is random.

I believe you're in the new biome, its sort of a plains biome but its called a savanna, where the temperature according to the biome is over 1.0, meaning no rain just like the desert.
