Title says it all. I can't reach any minecraft servers. I have reinstalled minecraft (by deleting the .minecraft folder). The strange thing is, it's only on one computer. (on wireless.) I have a small server, so I might have messed something up with the port forwarding. Any help?
Possible problems: • You are playing minecraft in offline mode • The server(s) you are trying to connect to may be outdated, whitelisted, or currently down. • Your firewall settings could be blocking the connection between you and the server.

I'm not playing MC in offline. Not that dumb!
It really is for all of the servers, and I can connect fine on other computers.
I'm using norton internet security. I don't think it's a network firewall, as I've set those settings exactly the same as the other computers that work. Can you tell me how to fix this, as I think it's probably what's happening? I'm not too experienced with dealing with firewalls.
I, as many other people are having the same issue. For me I'm playing on servers in FTB packs so I'm not playing offline. There is/are nothing wrong with the servers, because they are on & there are people on there when I try. As for firewalls, well I don't have any. I think it's minecraft itself that's causing the issue.

If you can connect via another system then something on your system is blocking it, i would check the hosts file for anything minecraft related, have you ever run a cracked client in the past?

No, never a cracked client, but I have run mods in the past. I'm sorry though, what do you mean by hosts file?
thats not the issue then
i asked about cracked as some put minecraft servers there to stop them updating.
as your on wireless is there a chance you can connect to a neighbours net to try and connect to a server, just to rule out you breaking your connection when you did the port forwarding

Ok! I'll ask my neighbor, and if not I'll head to the library. Stay tuned!

OK, I think it's my network. I wen't to a different network, and it worked fine. I tried resetting all my firewall settings to default, so I don't think that the port forward broke it. Any ideas?

Curse PremiumThere isn't anything in the file, it's just a sample file with everything commented out with hashes.
