I am currently having problems with lag.
I have allocated memory to my game and I have cleaned out my hard drive, stopped everything that im not using (which means everything but steam chat/messenger), and am using low graphics, no clouds, etc.

But im still getting lag.

Soon as I log into single player creative, unless im looking at the sky, the lag is almost unbearable.
I like to build houses and barns n whatnot for my children, but I cant build the houses that they want, because its very difficult when im laying down one block and three pop up because of the lag.

Survival is not much better.
I have to log out every ten minutes to reset the whole "server" so that the lag isnt as bad.
Otherwise, if a creeper or zombie comes up on me, im dead as I cant move effectively to kill the mob.

Does anyone have any ideas?
Im pretty much getting rather ed that I have to log out (which only works on the survival mode) just to reduce the lag to a more playable game.

I have looked all over the internet, googling like a mad woman trying to find some kind of help for this problem.

Ive done everything that ive found, including reinstalling the game... and nothing has helped.

There has to be someone out there that can help.

it might be that your computer's processor, or the graphic card is bad. Go to settings in Minecraft, and change the graphics to fast instead of fancy, will help. Good Luck!
