I got a new laptop a Lenovo ideapad y500, it works perfectly but when I set the minecraft settings a certain way it can go well over 200 FPS probly 300-500. Sometimes my minecraft just starts flickering white or no reason, and it freezes and says, "minecraft not responding". Does anyone know why it does this? Does it have To do with the FPS? Please tell me, thank you.
Turn on VSYNC and it won't ever go above the refresh rate - there is little point to more than 75FPS unless you are using a CRT.
