So my minecraft seems to be doing something really weird ever since I started using the new launcher :
And when I log in to my server it keeps saying chunk file in the wrong location replacing... but it never replaces it!!!!
I've seen other posts like this but they are from server owners not from the guy who's creating the problem and i think it might be some bug i accidentelly downloaded.
That's a chunk error. That spot of the world didn't load properly for whatever reason.
like I haven't heard that one before. It's not a chunk error becose no matter what I do it doesn't load it just unloads at some random moment and doesn't reload!
If your world got corrupted you can try to repair it with MCEdit. Open the offending world in MCEdit, press 'ctrl-i' and select 'Repair regions' in the dialogue which pops up. Once this has completed, save your world and exit MCEdit.
To download MCEdit, go to http://www.mcedit.net/ and choose the version appropriate for your OS.

Do you have any mods? What type of server is it? Has it been hacked or has mods?
