So I recently bought minecraft I was soooo happy But my computer is slowwwwww and I wanted to download the 1.6.4 version, I trieed minecraft.net but can't seem to find anything Continuing my seach I came up with the 1.5.2 version... But I can't download 1.6.4, I feel like I'm missing something, PLEASE HELP?!

Retired StaffHave you tried using the Launcher? It's now the official (and only) way to play Minecraft past 1.5.2.
Once you're in the launcher, follow these steps to change your Minecraft version:
1) Open the launcher and log in
2) Click "edit profile"
3) Go down to this drop-down menu and select the version you want to play. Then click "save".
4) Click "play" and you're good to go
Just get the new launcher.
