So it was a day at 1.7.2 and I decided to check the Super Secret Settings. When I clicked it, I can hear the sound, but the shader will not load. I clicked again, heard another sound, still no shader.
I've extracted the 1.7.2 jar and found the shaders inside. They were there, but they don't work with me.
Is there a fix for this?
This most likely means that you most likely are using an old graphics card. Right now, Minecraft uses OpenGL 1.1 and 1.2 to communicate with your graphics card. OpenGL 2.1 adds code which allows a graphics card to render custom shading. (which is what a shader does.)
