Full screen not working

When I click full screen on or press F11 it goes to full screen for about a second then goes back to the normal window. I know when you go into full screen it shows two windows for Minecraft are open on my toolbar. This also happens on modded Minecraft. I'm also using windows 7.

Try dragging your Minecraft window to fullscreen, with your cursor, if the F11 key does not work.

that works fine but the actual full screen wont work
