i recently reformatted my computer and after re installing java minecraft runs at about 7-23 fps and that is with render distance 12 chunks max framerate unlimited view bobbing off advanced openGL off clouds off graphics fast smooth lighting off and if i turn advanced openGL on it fps goes down to 5-13 fps

before reformatting i was playing with render distance 16 and advanced openGL on and was getting from 45-80 fps i have reinstalled java multiple times and updated my graphics driver

any help would be much appreciated

system specs
intel core i5-2450
intell hd graphics 3000
6gb of ram
750 gb hdd

when i turn advanced open GL on FPS goes down and before formatting yea i was running 1.7 didnt have any mods for 1.7 and yea sure on framerate if i run 1.6 it goes back up even sometimes when i first login to 1.7 it will go like 75 fps for about 10 mins before it goes down

raising or lowering the render distance doesnt make any difference stays the same its wierd and no dedicated card its a sony vaio laptop
