So, I downloaded BandiCam to make videos for YouTube, and I can record every other game in my arsenal (Including Skyrim) just fine, but when I try to record MineCraft I get 8-9 FPS TOPS. Here are my computer specs:

16 GB DDr3 RAM
Intel Core i7 3630QM
Nvidia GeForce GTX 680m 4.0 GB
Windows 8 64 bit

So, does anyone know how I can improve it? I tried Optifine but it doesn't work right, I've tried a bunch of different mods and texture packs. Any Ideas?

Well, I would just try to find a new recorder, try fraps, ezvid, or overwolf. They all get the job done but I prefer overwolf

Hmm. every other game but minecraft... try, in the launcher, putting this in the JVM arguments field.

interesting. your computer specs seem to be just fine and should record this with no issues. im thinking it could be your recorder maybe but with your specs even then id say its not. check your minecraft settings and turning somethings off like not playing on the so called "ultra" minecraft setting change your render distance to something smaller. change the FPS setting to something that will allow max FPS and chunk loading to multicore if you can minecraft is a game that uses CPU power and well you have an I7 pretty awesome cpu but also recording uses cpu power as well could be why you get lag. if you want to choose a different recording software i use Fraps for lots of recording and ive tried bandicam and it can take a big hit on your fps sometimes. i like using mirilis they are neat. ive seen someone mention overwolf they are nice but they cant get good video quality and sound only comes from one source either your voice or the game not both. camtasia studio has a recorder its ok i guess. but if i had to choose my go to recorder id say fraps is the way to go. you may get large video files but it is a very nice program and everyone has been using fraps since before the internet. if you cant get fraps id go with mirillis. you can try giving minecraft more ram if youd like by changing the JVM arguments in your profile to something larger like -Xmx3G

Guys, for Future Reference, I was running Minecraft on my integrated graphics rather than my dedicated, herp derp!
