So, I have a 64 bit laptop, and I have both the 64 bit and 32 bit java installed. I was looking through the profile editor in the launcher and I saw the Java Executable, and I have a little bit of experience with this so I figured I'd try to change it to the 64 bit version of Java to try and improve performance because my laptop isn't that great. So, I change it to the 64 bit directory C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jre7\bin\javaw.exe. I then try to run it and it gives me the error:
Error: Could not create the Java Virtual Machine.
I can still change it back to the normal Java, but I'm just kind of curious if there is a way to change it to the 64 bit version of java, or if it's already automatically running the 64 bit version.
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks.
