Changing the FOV ingame or the resolution doesn't work, What I mean by weird FOV is stuff is FAR to the right like my pickaxe is cut in half, searching forums provided no results on my problem, here's a screenshot of a wooden pickaxe with my weird FOV (bug possibly/glitch?) : http://imgur.com/aG60ztL

Judging by the picture, it looks like your monitor is 4:3, not widescreen. That's how it will look. Minecraft doesn't render it any different for standard format screens, it just cuts off the sides. Not much you can do about it besides a different monitor.
