I am at Minecon Orlando at the moment, in my hotel room. We are staying in the HYATT hotel. We are at the moment trying to play Minecraft in our hotel rooms, but it won't work. The internet works fine . We asked the people at the lobby, and called the ICT guys,they said the game was the problem. we asked around other people going to Minecon, and they can't play Minecraft either. I hope they will fix this, because we are on Minecon to play Minecraft, and we are pretty bored in our hotel rooms at the moment. PLEASE reply if you haave a solution! Thanks, and have a good minecon!

I can't log into my minecraft account, it says it is a wrong password , and play offline doesn't work either

the hotel most likely has some sort of blocks and firewalls set up, only their it guys will be able to do anything about it

The Hyatt Regency Orlando is using "SolutionIP FLEX" for the WiFi management (was working yesterday). My solution is to configure a VPN:

Hotel Wifi (SSID=Hyatt Regency Guestroom) > Travel router (with VPN settings) > Travel router (SSID=Minecon) > 2 x Laptops (can login/play minecraft) + 2 x Android tablets + 2 x Phones =

whell.. Minecon is over now.. I was able to play the last day , and it was A LOT of fun
