So I recently installed another 4 gb RAM onto my laptop. (Spare ram slot) Everything ran smoothly until i pulled up minecraft. I could only reach around 25 frames per second. I tryed on 1.6.4 but i had to use optifine. Is there anyway i could turn the extra 4 gb ram off through the system or do i have to take it out. If theres anything else. Please help.
Amount of RAM installed does not effect Minecraft;s performance (unless you have less than 1GB of it). The main thing about performance in Minecraft's case is your graphics card. Is it rendering the game, or do you only have an integrated card?
