Hello fellow minecrafters... well nvm... besides that does anyone know how to fix a issue I have... When I open my minecraft it only has I only have 1.6.4. Also when I go to edit profile to latest version is release 1.6.4 and it's really starting to bother me because I cant join 1.7.2 servers. Everything in minecraft works fine but I just didnt get minecraft 1.7.2 like every 90000000000000000000 other people in the world that have it... If you have a solution please leave it in the comments that would be really appreciated... Thanks!!!!

This is probably because you have set the launcher to not automatically update.
At the launcher, press "New Profile", name it "Default", and for "Use Version", set it to "Use Latest Version", then save.
From the dropdown at the bottom right, select "Default" and Play 1.7.
In the future, do not edit the "Default" profile unless you have to, otherwise, make a new profile.
