So, when 1.6 came out i realized that with the new launcher i was unable to log in to any multiplayer servers without experiencing extreme lag and being disconnected within a few seconds. So, as a way around the lag i used magic launcher, which worked fine for any server and i had no problems with lag using it. Now when 1.7 came out i tried logging onto a server using the regular launcher (thinking the old issue would be fixed) but i am still having the same issue. So i figured i'd have to just keep using magic launcher, but not even magic launcher will work now. Every time i log onto a server it gives me the error message "Failed to log in: Invalid session (Try restarting your game)" and when i restart my game i am still given this message upon logging onto any server.
Uh try looking at your internet speed, as well as where the server is located. Bad internet connection, or being far away from where the server is located can end up in very poor conditions in servers, especially gaming servers.

I found out the Failed to log in: Invalid session (Try restarting your game) issue is an issue with magic launcher (which i couldn't find a solution to on the magic launcher thread). My internet is fine, i was able to play on any server using the regular launcher before the new one was made, but all of a sudden since the new one was made i am unable to use it for multiplayer.
If that's so, post a response on the magic launcher thread, not in the unmodified client section. If that doesn't work, try making sure you have the newest version of magic launcher, try re-downloading the original launcher, try to try another server with the original launcher, or contact the author directly. The thing is, it seems quite unlikely that there would be a problem with a launcher, as the client itself is only launched by the launcher. Unless the launcher, for some reason, was blocking off your internet connection, that would seem odd.
