I've been having a problem for the last couple of weeks with Minecraft. For well over a year I've been using a 256 x 256 texture pack. After re downloading Minecraft in an attempt to fix a different problem I seem to have changed something. Now it will no longer support my resource pack. I didn't change my game version. so I know it worked with the version I was playing and I had it working with the new snapshot before re downloading. I know my computer can handle the texture pack. I've tried allowing Minecraft more RAM to run the program but nothing changes. I don't know if it's not working because I have a new version of the launcher that won't load fast enough to launch with my texture pack or if there is a problem with Java. I'm not very technical but i will attach one of the crash reports. If someone has some advice to make the launcher or java run faster or some trick i can use to get the pack working again that would be much appreciated.
And to be clear i understand the problem is the size of the textures. What i don't understand is why it suddenly has a problem with the size of the textures.
