Yeah I had that problem also, but I exited out of my minecraft and opened it back up then messed with the secret super settings.
Then it worked.
I'm not quite sure what fixed the problem though S:

I've had this problem as well, and it happens completely randomly in my experience. The best things to do are to check if the sound is on in both Windows Audio mixer:
As well as checking the sound in the Minecraft options. The, try restarting MC, restarting your computer, and checking your audio drivers, updating your audio drivers, etc.
