I've been playing single player minecraft for MONTHS and it's driving me crazy. Don't get me wrong, I love the game and I enjoy playing it but I want to take it to the next level. I've discovered (finally) how to join a multiplayer server but every time I try to join it either gives me multiple errors or just stays on the "logging in..." page for a very long time.
Can anyone shed some light on what could be my problem? I'm dying to play multiplayer and get another layer of this awesome game.

What kind of errors? Are you connected to the internet? Do you have a cracked version of the game?
What kind of servers are you trying to join?

What kind of errors? "Failed to Connect to Server.
Internal Exception: io.netty.handler.codec.DecoderException:
java.io.IOException: Bad packet id 115"
that is just one of the errors when I attempted to join server Uberminecraft.com
