I have been successful in playing the 1.5.* version but when I try anything higher I get this. Over and over again.
Is there anyone that can help me with this problem?
I am still getting crashes. I have shut down everything I have open except Minecraft.exe and it still crashes. Same error codes.
Please can someone help me.
I'll double-check the crash log.

Uh, are you attempting to use the /give command? Is that the cause?
I get the exact same problem, with the "Can't keep up! Did the system time change, or is the server overloaded? Running 5557ms behind, skipping 111 tick(s)" messages so I can not play minecraft 1.7.2 D: It only happens when I try to open up a world, or server, nothing to do with trying to do a command, it just goes straight to 0fps and crashes with those errors
Not 100% sure on this, but I am just guessing the following:
Minecraft lags the ever living hell out itself, then it falls behind in code. It tries to catch up, but skips important parts in the code. After it skips some very important stuff, the game crashes as it can not sustain itself anymore.
Again, not 100% sure on this, but that's just my take on it/guess.
I'll double-check the crash log.

All I am doing is trying to start a game.
It starts to show the ground and everything starts loading then it lags to buggery and stops and goes back to the startup.
I wish it would work as I want to enjoy the horses....
lol
So I tried Starting the game not in FULL SCREEN and it loaded.
When it loaded I pressed F11 and it still ran perfectly.
Try it on yours if it isn't working properly.
I tried Updating my graphics drivers but it said I had the best one that was available.
Thanks to all whom have given tips and tricks.
Its working for me now.
YAY HORSES!

If it starts crashing again you should know that you must allocate at least 1 or 2 GB RAM to the server or it won't work.
i have allocated 1 to 5 GB Ram to my server and only about 3 people are on at at max and it is still giving me the

If it still happens, try to reinstall your Minecraft Server files.
