There is a problem with your Minecraft Version 1.7.2

I will explain all that I am aware of with the problem as much as I can. I just today bought Minecraft and downloaded the latest version.

When I start playing I can see everything just fine. (I am playing in creative mode so I can build a map for a Multiplay Game hopefully.)

After in my Inventory specific items are selected almost everything turns black. (Some items remain the same.) as well the entire map turns black (All except the mobs)

When I save & return to title scene, then go back to the world again nothing changes. It's still completely black.

When I restart completely everything is back to normal until the whole process is repeated when a item is selected that cause everything to black out.



Right now I only know of these things that does it.

• Ladder
• Flower (Yellow Tip)

I had this happen when I placed a torch, which will make mining a pain. I guess I'll just play back on 1.6.4 until it's patched.

Happens to me as well. I should note that I have switchable graphics, and this only happens on my Radeon.

Before you tell me to update my drivers; the new drivers just make minecraft crash my card. It's extremely frustrating.

EDIT: I found a workaround. Turn off the mipmap levels in your graphics options.

Same thing happens to me, no matter what i do it keeps turning black. It happens on all servers and anything 1.7.2
