Ok so I just updated my minecraft launcher and stuff but everytime I hit play it crashes. I have no idea how to fix it and I'm going insane! I've tried deleting my files and reinstalling them but nothing works!

Does that come up when it crashes? Because it just dissapears for me and then goes back to the menue like I never hit play.
