My Minecraft keeps showing error messages when I start the launcher. I tried placing the launcherpack.izma file in manually, but when I try to login, it says something about the "trustAnchors parameter must be non-empty".
I tried everything from uninstalling Java and then reinstalling it to doing the same with Minecraft. I'm not 100% sure if it is just Minecraft or it is my OS. I just installed OS X Mavericks (10.9) and Minecraft hasn't been working since then. This is the error message:
Current time is Oct 23, 2013 7:17:46 AM
System.getProperty('os.name') == 'Mac OS X'
System.getProperty('os.version') == '10.9'
System.getProperty('os.arch') == 'x86_64'
System.getProperty('java.version') == '1.6.0_51'
System.getProperty('java.vendor') == 'Apple Inc.'
System.getProperty('sun.arch.data.model') == '64'
I also installed Java 6 as well. I have no clue why this would happen with Minecraft. I assume that Java just could't work well with these types of applications. I analyzed what was happening and figured out that the launcher was being sandboxed by Java and couldn't accept any incoming or send outgoing connections. Very strange....
