i really need help with my minecraft. ok, so i just bought the newest minecraft and i was downloading it for the first time and when i double click on the minecraft icon it starts a screen that starts and says
- DOWNLOADING: HTTPS://S3.AMAZONAWS.COM/MINECRAFT.DOWNLOAD/LAUNCHER/LUANCHER.PACK.LZMA

and it repeats it 10 times and then finaly says

UNABLE TO DOWNLOAD REMOTE FILE. CHECK YOUR INTERNET CONNECTION/PROXY SETTINGS.

FATAL ERROR: NET.MINECRAFT.BOOT STRAP.FATAL BOOT STRAP ERROR: UNABLE TO DOWNLOAD WHILE BEING FORCED AT NET.MINECRAFT. BOOT STRAP.BOOT STRAP.EXECUTE (BOOT STRAP.JAVA95)


PLEASE FIX ERROR AND RESTART----------------------- so if you guys/girls know how to fix this please tell me in the commenti really want to start to play the new minecraft 1.6.4or just message me if you know how to fix

Hmm. Can you still play in the browser? Try that if you can if not you might want to get help from the Mojang Website. Do what the thing says, check yo internet connection.

1) Can you connect to the minecraft.net site, or help.mojang.com?

2) Try updating Java

3) most likely, Your firewall is blocking Java. Either disable it, or make an exception.

yes becuase i had a cracked version of minecraft 1.5.2 for a week then bought the new minecraft and that came up ??ok ill try that too thx
