My Minecraft runs fine until the world finishes loading then it "freezes" almost like the mouse is not locked to the window, but i am able to alt tab and then the menu pops up and works fine and i click resume and it "freezes" but the faster i click the better the game seems to run. the view will usually be stuck looking down or snap down almost instantly and horizontally it will jump around(i still have to be clicking rapidly to see this happening).

i tried to run minecraft by using the Feed The Beast launcher and at first load it worked but the next time i tried the same thing that happened with vanilla happened in FTB.

then i set the ram avalible to 16GB and it runs smoothly but the looking bug still happens.

help would be appreciated,

Update: The 16GB of ram did not work the next time i ran the game.

yes it does and another thing is sometimes it will start out normal speed but the view will be locked down and choppy horizontal view movement still occur then eventually return to the freezing. this is an error that makes no sense to me.

I am not sure if this is the direct cause but i just got and update for windows 8.1, installed it and now the game appears to run great.

Update: when I restarted my computer it broke again and each time a new windows update comes out it will work untill I run MineCraft then shutdown my computer. Could this mean that a cache is not getting cleared or getting corrupted?

i have found the problem. it has something to do with using HDMI and "Disable display scaling on high DPI settings" in launch options of windows.
