Mac 10.8.5 running Minecraft 1.6.4 on Minecraft Launcher 1.2.7.
On opening screen when I hit the "Play" button, progress bar appears but nothing further happens.
Tried deleting minecraft folder from Application Support. Hitting Play button, progress bar appears, blue line begins from left, loads all the way to the right hand side, then freezes again.
Surely someone else has had this problem? It only started happening suddenly last week, was working fine before. Nothing I've changed to do with the operating system. Have latest Java (Java 7 Update 45). Can't think what else to try.
