Earlier this evening I was playing Minecraft when I received a notice that a Java Update was available. I updated my Java and then when I tried to reopen Minecraft and begin playing again, it said it couldn't connect to the Minecraft servers.
I made sure the Minecraft port was open on my Windows Firewall.
I uninstalled and then reinstalled Java.
I restarted my computer.
I deleted Minecraft and its .minecraft folder and downloaded the official launcher again.
Now when I try to run the launcher I receive this error message:

I'm not really sure what I did wrong and why nothing seems to be working. Any advice would be much appreciated.
