So I posted this yesterday but I didn't write the correct thing, so I'm back. I'm playing on 1.6.4 and I can play singleplayer but I can't play muliplayer. When I try to connect, it says "Connection Timed Out", and I was asked what antivirus I have, which is AVG Antivirus Free. Any help appreciated!

try deleting your local minecraft files, then re-installing them. That's all I can really give you since I don't know how to fix it any other way.
