Hey guys, I've encountered an error. While making some finishing touches on my mini-game, and turning it on, Minecraft pretty much broke. Memory and CPU expanded infinitely, and the effect somewhat persisted in other worlds. In fact, the game freezes and says "Not Responding" whenever I start Minecraft for about 2 minutes, something it has never done before, showing that the effect is leaking out to Minecraft, and my computer as a whole.
Since I want to release the Mini-Game, hangman using chat and tellraw soon, and I don't want to ruin all of your computers in case the lag is universal, I need suggestions. I have my memory limits set around 520 MB in the JVM Arguments, and I have all lag settings to minium in chat, other than chunks, which is at 7 or 8 at recording time. This has never happened, and actually seems to be hurting my computer. I BELIEVE that particles are the main reason for this, although I am sure the constant switching of the blocks can't help either.
If no one gives any working ideas, I will soon simply finish stage 1 of the mini-game and release it, lag or not, and recieve feedback as to the lag. To avoid this potentially lagging badly people without good computers, and even those with, please share!
Hmm. could be some kind of very well hidden minecraft bug, or your trying to 'handle' something that your computer can't handle.

I suppose so, but no computer can handle infinite CPU/Memory.... every computer would eventually fail. That is why everything electronic has hard limits. I suppose I will just have to end up releasing the game anyway. Thanks for the help!
