So when i host a world, the person joining gets a connection timed out error EVERY TIME. Ive checked firewalls, we both have java enabled, we have internet on (the world pops up in the server list) and we have tried using the direct connect button, but nothing works! It used to work just fine, but now it refuses!
However, when my brother hosts a world, i cannot see it in the list, so i direct connect and it works fine!
I just want to be able to host again because i want all the features of too many items (some of them dont work in multiplayer if you arent the host)
Oh and we generally have good connection (full bars on wireless)
you may want to do a virus scan, even though it probably won't help you with your LAN problem.
i have no virus... its just my stupid lan! i hate the fact that its my computer's problem, because when my brother hosts it works fine! and it worked before too.... i have checked everything, so i guess i cant fix it. thank you for attempting to help, have a good day.
