I've recently gotten into playing the Minecraft Classic servers, however, Chrome prompted me to update Java, I thought I would do it later but the game crashed before loading so I decided I would update (when I first tried to play I also had to update Java). However, the game (as it did before) brought up two dialogue boxes but now they are slightly different. I don't have a screen shot of what they were before.
After I clicked accept on the boxes, normally it would just jump right into the game, now it says Minecraft "switching to applet" and doesn't do anything. If I switch tabs it will copy whatever is on the screen of the other tab I looked at where the game should be.
I tried doing a system restore which just restored the old version of Java that caused the game to crash and then I completely uninstalled Java and made sure I installed the 64bit version which still does the same thing.
I can play the full version exe just fine but I really like the Minecraft Classic servers and would like to be able to play them.
I'm trying to play the Minecraft Classic servers, is it possible to download it and still play on the servers? I looked and I don't see really anything about it.
