Minecraft Forums

I was playing minecraft for a few hours and all of a sudden, it crashes. It was the first time it crashed in a while but I figured it was just a random crash and it was no big deal. However, when I log back on, the world I was playing on when I crashed was no longer there. However, I went to the saves folder in .minecraft and my world was in there. All my other worlds are in the saves folder and work fine. I have tried taking the world out of the saves folder and putting it back in but it doesn't work. Please help.
